North Hibbing Disc Golf

The Hibbing Disc Golf Course was created in 2004, to promote disc golf and its benefits to Hibbing, and northeastern Minnesota. With a spectacular view and unique place in Minnesota's iron mining history, the "Old North Hibbing" park lends itself perfectly to providing an extraordinary disc golf experience. The 18-hole course was recently updated with a new layout and tee boxes in 2019. The course is free for all to enjoy.

Hibbing Raceway

1799 23rd St (Located next to Minnesota North College and HHS Cheever Football Field)

Every Saturday evening from late May - Labor Day races are scheduled. A variety of classes are featured and weekly themes are sure to entertain a great crowd. Special nights include a firecracker spectacular, local merchants night, meet the driver, and veterans tribute.

All ages are welcome to the family friendly races. General admission is $25, with discounts available for Vets, seniors, and kids. Please check out the Hibbing Raceway website for the latest information.

DOG PARK

North Hibbing Dog Park

This is conveniently found on the edge of the area that was once the former community of North Hibbing. The park is divided into two fenced areas, one for larger dogs and one for smaller pups. It is open year round, offers bags and benches. Parking is right at the entrance of the dog park.

Carey Lake

Open for swimming at the beach area. There is no lifeguard on duty, but there are changing rooms and volleyball available to the public. There is also a boat launch and a great dock for fishing, plus beautiful walking trails that are used for cross country skiing in the winter.

Kelly Lake

No lifeguard on beachfront duty. This lake is great for fishing.
