Contact a Post Advisor and join us for a Welcome Night. You can find this event in the Event Calendar posted on the Explorers page.

4. What if I join the Explorers Post but realize I am not interested anymore?

That's okay! We do not expect firefighting to be for everyone. That is the purpose of this program, to try out a career without being committed to it financially or a length of time. If you do not want to continue you can just simply opt out by contacting one of the 3 advisors. 

5. Does it cost anything to join the Explorer's Program?

Yes, there is a small application fee as this is a sub group of the Boyscouts of America in which members are insured under BOA during events and trainings.

6. What if I have to miss some of the training nights?
