1. How do I obtain a birth or death certificate?

All birth and death certificates are handled at the St. Louis County Courthouse (218) 262-0100

No, currently only dogs need to be licensed.

3. Where can I purchase a bus pass?

Bus passes can be purchased in the Clerk's Office at City Hall, Walmart, SuperOne, or the Lees Center.

4. How do I reach the Driver's Office in City Hall?

The Driver's Office located on the 1st floor of city hall is a leased space, not a city function.  They can be reached at drive.mn.gov or by calling (651) 284-1000.

5. How do I register to vote?

You can register to vote online by going to mnvotes.org

6. How do I license my dog?

To license your dog, you will need to bring a copy of your dog's current vaccination record to the City Clerk's office to prove current rabies vaccination status.  A citizen may purchase at 1, 2, or 3 year license for their dog and the price is $7.00/year if neutered or spayed and $10.00/year if intact.
