Do you provide free smoke alarms?: We have a smoke alarm installation program through the American Red Cross "Ring the Alarm" that will not only provide free smoke alarms but we will also install them in your home. Visit our Fire Department webpage to find out more or to apply for free smoke alarm installation.

2. How do I request a station visit?: You can request a station visit by filling out the request a tour form on the Fire Department webpage.

You can get them recharged/serviced at a fire protection company such as LVC in Hibbing or you can dispose of them at the Hibbing Transfer Station - Household Hazardous Materials located at 3994 Landfill Road, Hibbing, MN.
