Location & History
Bennett Park located at 3rd Avenue East and 13th Street, is one of Hibbing's oldest parks. It was founded in the 1920's. This park is used extensively from May to September. The maintenance facilities for the total park system is headquartered at Bennett Park.
Hibbing Horseshoe Club
Hibbing Horseshoe Club is hosted in Bennett Park. Two nights of league play are available on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Thursday night a special needs league also plays. This is a family oriented club located on the north side of Bennett Park. Those interested in playing for tournaments are put into brackets according to ability.
